Why fiberglass instead of steel or wood?

Fiberglass is the best-performing door material for Canadian winters. It doesn't warp, rot, dent, or rust. It holds a stain finish far longer than wood and provides significantly better insulation than steel. Most of our customers who've had wood or steel doors before tell us the difference is noticeable within the first season. We manufacture exclusively in fiberglass because, after 30 years, it's simply the material we'd put on our own homes.

What does the installation process look like?

It starts with a free in-home consultation — we come to you, measure the opening, walk through design and material options, and answer every question. Once you approve the design and quote, production begins at our Concord facility. Most doors take 4–6 weeks to build depending on complexity. Installation itself takes 3–6 hours. Our own certified crew removes the old door, installs and weatherproofs the new one, and cleans up completely before leaving. You don't need to arrange anything separately — we handle everything.

Can I get a door that doesn't exist in a catalogue?

Yes — that's what we do. Door Gallery is a manufacturer, not a reseller. We don't sell from a catalogue and we're not limited by what a third-party supplier makes. If you have a specific size, profile, glass design, wrought iron pattern, or finish colour in mind, we build it. The design conversation starts at your free consultation and ends when you're completely happy with what's on paper. Nothing goes into production until you've signed off.

We’ve been operating from the same facility in Concord since 1994. We manufacture every door ourselves, we’re not a showroom that orders from a supplier. Our own crew installs every door we sell.
